  • What is an Italian cream soda?

    Flavored syrup, ice, club soda, and cream (our standard is plant-based and dairy-free). For events under 100 guests, our craft recipes are topped with a garnish.

  • What is included in my package rental cost?

    Setup and teardown, travel within a 30-mile radius of Des Moines, 2-hour trailer rental, and friendly serving staff.

  • What are your drink sizes?

    Our standard logo cups are 16oz. Our services include cups, lids, straws, and napkins. Interested in smaller cup sizes? No problem! Just let us know when booking.

  • How many guests can you serve?

    We have served small events (50 guests), large events (2,500 guests), and everything in between. The sooner you know your event guest count for planning purposes, the even more prepared we will be.

  • I love your vignette seating! Is it included?

    Vignette seating is not automatically included in your rental cost, and is available for $250. If you would like to rent a beautiful, inviting option for your event, our vignette includes 4 yellow chairs, blankets, pillows, 2 end tables, 2 large plants, and 2 rugs.

  • I'm not offering a hosted bar for my event. Can my guests pay?

    We can accommodate events where guests pay for their drinks individually. Each of our non-alcoholic drinks is $6 plus tax. If our $500 event minimum is not met, the host is responsible to pay the difference.

  • How do I book my event?

    Ready to book? Simply complete our booking inquiry form to provide your event information. We’ll get back to you within 48 hours to confirm date availability and provide options to submit a 50% deposit based on your event package. Not offering a hosted bar? We require a $100 deposit to hold your date that will be applied toward the event minimum.

  • What happens if it is going to rain and my event is outside?

    If there is rain and no lightning, we will be able to still serve your event. Any cancellations without an attempt to reschedule will forfeit their deposit. Cancellations less than 30 days prior to the event are subject to a $100 cancellation fee for the 2-hour service and $50 for each additional hour service is booked. We understand life happens and acts of God can occur. Any refunds will be at the discretion of Sip and Float LLC. If for any reason Sip And Float LLC cancels and no rescheduled date is set, all deposits or additional payments made are returned to the booking customer.
